The Rong Khun Temple

This temple, which draws a lot of local and foreign visitors, is located in Chiang Rai Province, North of Thailand. It was envisioned by a renowned master painter Mr. Chalermchai Kositpipat. Seven years ago, his innate artistic talent conceptualized an unconventional temple, the whole site plan of which depicts all of Bhudda's teachings and what a man can experience after crossing over death. It is his lifetime project that will consist of nine buildings each assigned to wit: a hall for Buddha’s relics, a hall for Buddha images, a preaching hall, a contemplation hall, a monk’s cell, a door façade of the Buddhavasa, an art gallery, and the toilets.

Totally resigning from his lucrative career of painting, he fully focused his life to the pursuance of this goal as a dedication to Buddha and His Royal Majesty the King of Thailand. This lifetime project which is worth all his earnings as a painter is foresighted to be accomplished in ninety years. To ensure that everything will be carried out to his specifications, he personally spearheads the construction and is the prime consultant to all aspects of architecture including landscapes. He as well formed a cadre of modern trained architects, painters and designers, to assure that all will be carried out as planned even when he's gone. He call this Temple "a national and world heritage" representing art and craft during the reign of his Majesty the King.

Just thought it could inspire again...
GIVE A PERSON A FISH (21 Oct 2007)
It's kinda funny.... earlier i was doing my thing with my website when suddenly the dialogue box popped up with the message "...requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without connection)... Sigh of all sighs, every time I work on the net the more and more things become cyber complicated. A simple command will lead to a complex question, it has to be researched and once the inquiry is sufficed another jargon will comeup, then it will be answered. Then it will be linked to another inquiry again, and so on and so forth. Anyway that's what makes computing fun and challenging. Until I was alerted by this "basic authentication" thing. So, as usual search the net for the explanation to this quandary. And would you care to know what the reply was? "GIVE A PERSON A FISH, THEY EAT FOR A DAY. SUGGEST THEY INTERNET SEARCH AND LEARN A SKILL FOR A LIFETIME." What can you say? Even the NET is aware of its values? Funny isn't it?
